RED DEER COUNTY Maternity Photographer

HI I’M SHERIDA!

a maternity photographer based in Sylvan Lake, AB. I made the move to Central Alberta in the summer of 2024 from Vancouver Island, and I quickly fell in love with the beauty of Alberta. As a mother of four, I have firsthand experience of the incredible journey of motherhood, and I cherish each moment I spend with my family. Together, we explore the outdoors, dance in our living room, and enjoy cozy movie nights.

My husband is my greatest support, and I couldn't imagine this journey without him. As I capture the essence of parenthood for my clients, I treat each session as if I were photographing my own family, capturing those fleeting moments that will become lifelong memories. I would be honored to work with you during this exciting time in your life.

KIND WORDS

Woman holding baby at sunset on a hillside

I cannot even begin to say enough about Sherida.
She is absolutely the best photographer I have ever come across.
Not only are her photos pure magic, they capture her clients in their most authentic, beautiful selves. She somehow manages to draw you out of your shell in front of the camera, perhaps it’s her infectious smile and kind heart, or maybe it’s her charismatic personality and ability to make anyone feel comfortable around her.
For me, doing sessions with Sherida is a form of self love and self care- us mums forget to get in the frame with our babies and I believe this is something that is beyond important.
Thank you Sherida for freezing so many tender moments in time, thank you for empowering me, and thank you for sharing your incredible gift with the world.

Sherida is by far the best at what she does. She’s an incredible photographer and I think the images she creates speak for themselves in the emotion they both capture and instill. What’s more though is she has such a passion and enthusiasm for what she does. She has felt like a friend from the start and her excitement for each session is infectious. I’ve booked three shoots with her in the span on 5 months because I cannot get enough. She has a client wardrobe that is magazine worthy and along with her positive energy makes you feel like an actual goddess. It’s such a rare and incredible experience to have beautiful images that so wonderfully capture a time and feeling in your life, and Sherida achieves this every single time. I wasn’t positive that I wanted maternity photos but booked with Sherida by recommendation and they are now my most loved and treasured photos. I hope to have her photograph my family for years to come. I cannot recommend her enough.
